4th of July !

The 4th of July didn't seem like the 4th of July this year. Every year, that my husband & I have been together, we've gone to our town green where the local restaurants have booths, & each day there is different entertainment on stage, so you get to listen to bands & eat food all day. It starts on a Friday night, goes on during Saturday, then Sunday night, there's the annual fire works once it gets dark.

This year, le husband unfortunately got scheduled on the day of the fireworks, so we decided to make plans to do something different this year so we could still have our 4th of July tradition now being married. We met up with my sister, her fiance', my 2 nieces, & my mom at an old spot we'd watch the town fire works at when my sister & I were little.

Back in the day it was a hot spot, so when we go there, & saw that no one was there, we were kinda wondering if everyone forgot... or if we had a bad location. None the less, we still enjoyed the time we had waiting before we got to see the fire works.

By the time the fire works should've been let off, we were getting eaten alive by the bugs, & all decided to drive until we saw the fire works. Once we saw them, we pulled over on the side of a street, got out of the car & watched them in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Never the less, it was memorable & such a great time.
