I'm very thankful for the blessings i've received this year. It's been a crazy though, I have to admit. During this year i've had a lot of ups and downs. Some that were documented, others that weren't. Whether good or bad, everything i've gone through has made me change as a person; it's helped me grow. I'm still learning day by day. Figuring out how to communicate my feelings better, learning to be a more organized *bill paying* adult, & realizing money really doesn't grow on tree's. I've gained more then I lost this year, & for the i'm grateful.

"Hair always grows back"

Since 2011 i've been trying to grow out my hair as long as possible. I dreading going to the hair dresser , and usually threatened her hair if she cut too much off of mine. Lately i've been feeling like my hair is just boring... I was sick of it in every style, and wearing it in a messy bun was coming a daily thing.

I finally took the plunge and I couldn't be happier!

                                                         BEFORE

                                                                   AFTER

It's a really great change that I don'y regret at all! Almost 10 inches of pure freedom. It's more of a professional look, and much easier to deal with in the morning! Never thought i'd like short hair!

Life update!

I'm thinking due to the last post I made being In August, I should probably let you guys know what i've been up to seeing as it's now October.

The second week of August, I left my job as a private nanny. Having no back up, no plan B, I left knowing that it was going to be difficult, but it was the best decision for myself. Even before I left, I was applying for new jobs, but now that I was unemployed I was applying even more. I became very proficient with filling out applications, and going into interviews which I guess is a good thing.

To say I was stressed was an understatement. Along with dealing with being unemployed, I was also dealing with my own personal struggles. I was taking the time off I had to pull myself together, and try to better myself since I've never been without a job since I was able to work. For once I didn't have a plan, but I knew my hard work and determination was going to pay off.

After 7 interviews, and a lot of stress and hard work, I finally landed my dream job. I'm going to be a full time receptionist in a medical office! I start Tuesday, & I'm so incredibly happy about this, and couldn't be more proud of myself!

Now, I just need to worry about getting a new car!
There's so many changes soon to come with my husband & I. I'm excited, and committed to keeping up with my blog so I can document all these life changes as they clearly seem to be happening quickly !

Here's some photos to make me feel validated about updating!

Black Cat Appreciation Day ! -- Wynnafred's day !

When my husband & I decided to ad an addition to our family last November, his condition was the cat had to be all black. I was fine with this, so I began my search & came across a phenomenal rescue. "No Kitten left behind" is a foster based rescue, that takes in kittens, & places them in foster homes until each kitten is adopted. Wynnafred was 5 months, & the oldest kitten in her foster home. From the time I picked her up, we decided she was it. On my drive home with her, I kept her in my lap, put my seatbelt on, & she slept completely against me the whole way. She snuggles with me, keeps me company while i'm in the bathroom, very affectionate, purrs louder the a motor boat, very gentle, & is such a mommas girl. From the time we got her, she's showed nothing but unconditional love. She's our purrrrrr-fect cat!
